Forums

ALFA maintains forums for general and specific server news, useful to community and guests. There is a great number of sub-forums for all interests, for example each server has its own forum where you can typically find DM times and such. You can also find maps and histories, as well as local canon useful when building a PC for the region. For those unfamiliar with the Forgotten Realms, free source material from mostly older editions is available at the Wizards of the Coast Download Page.

IRC Chat

The ALFA IRC channel is on Sorcery.net, the room is #alandfaraway. This channel is used to discuss ALFA related matters aswell as offer help and support to our Members. #alfa on the other hand, is a social off topic channel where you go just to hang out with the other members and have a good time.

If you do not have an IRC client such as mIRC? you can access the chatroom through your web browser by going here. If you are behind a firewall you may find the web-based CGI chat helpful. You do not have to be a member of ALFA to join chat. When joining as a guest, change your nickname to whatever you wish by typing: /nick NewNick, with ‘NewNick’ being whatever you please.
