In your answers, we will look for certain criteria. Our reviewers will consider it and provide you with a response.
Open Application Server
Our Open Application Server is set in Tervale for the original Neverwinter Nights. For Neverwinter Nights 2, it is
set in Soubar and its outlying regions.
On our Open Application Server you will be able to play as if on any of our regular servers, and have one of our Dungeon Masters accept you based on the merit of your roleplay.
Dedicated Dungeon Masters are available for you on the Open Application Server. To meet them, check their schedules on our forums or post a topic for an appointment. Alternatively you can simple log on and let our RSS feed warn our online Dungeon Masters of your presence. If they are available, they will log in to run a session with you.
Our Open Application Servers has low-level content to provide you with a Forgotten Realms lore experience. It is recommended you make yourself acquainted with the world and practise your character in preparation of a session with a Dungeon Master. You can post a topic on our forums or visit #ALFA if you wish to play with any of our regular members.
Admittance
To ensure the quality of roleplay you desire from ALFA, we admit applicants based on their ability to express themselves and their characters, and their understanding of ALFA as a community and gameworld.
In terms of roleplay, Gruush's Roleplaying Guide provides an excellent insight of the sensabilities and etiquette our members expect from each other.
It is expected of prospective members to take the Mission Statement and Pillars to heart. The Charter sets out the administration of ALFA. It is important for members to be aware with the general aspects of it. The Player Manual covers the fundementals and norms that govern our gameworld and provide an excellent resource for character creation. Lastly, the Code of Conduct and Rulebook provide members with the tools neccesary to solve disputes and conflicts - though ALFA Representatives will take care of these matters, it is recommended you at least glance at the general themes should there ever be a need for them.
